Gumroad first-sale help

Listed on Gumroad but Zero Sales?

Gumroad is a checkout. It is not usually a cold-traffic engine. Before blaming the platform, fix the product page and match it to one buyer-intent source.

If you listed a digital product on Gumroad and got no sales, the problem is usually not one single thing.

It is normally a stack of small leaks: vague title, weak first screen, unclear contents, no preview, no trust, and traffic that does not match the product promise.

Fix this before posting more links

  1. Rewrite the promise: one buyer, one situation, one outcome.
  2. Improve the first screen: readable cover, clear price, obvious checkout, no default-looking visuals.
  3. Show what is inside: files, templates, trackers, prompts, examples, and what each helps the buyer do.
  4. Add proof without testimonials: preview, screenshot, sample, before/after rewrite, or honest expectation framing.
  5. Pick one traffic angle: do not send random visitors to a generic page.

No-link community answer

If you are listed on Gumroad and getting zero sales, I would check the page before looking for another platform. The usual leaks are: vague title, weak first-screen trust, unclear contents, no preview/proof, and traffic that does not match the page promise. Gumroad can process payments, but it will not magically explain the product or create buyer intent. I would rewrite the top promise around one specific buyer, show exactly what is inside, add one preview/proof element, then test one traffic source at a time.
