Zero-budget first sale diagnostic

Find why your digital product has no sales in 10 minutes

For Gumroad, Etsy, Notion template, PDF, and prompt-pack sellers with no audience, no ads, and no patience left for vague marketing advice.

If you listed a digital product and got silence, the answer is usually not "post more." More traffic only helps after the buyer, page, free proof asset, and community path are aligned.

This finder gives you the likely bottleneck and the next zero-budget move. It is built for the current pattern showing up in seller communities: no audience, no sales, weak discovery, and fear of sounding salesy.

First Sale Finder

The no-audience rule

At zero audience, the first sale is usually earned by being the most useful person in a small conversation, not by making the loudest launch post.

  1. Repair the first screen so a cold visitor understands the offer.
  2. Make one useful free proof asset: diagnostic, checklist, calculator, or sample.
  3. Find active posts where the problem is already being described.
  4. Answer with the framework first. Mention the asset only when it is natural or allowed.

Community-safe no-link answer

I would separate "no sales" into two problems: 1. No one understands why the product exists. 2. The right people have not seen it in a useful context yet. Before promoting more, I would check: - Can a stranger tell who it is for in 5 seconds? - Does the first screen show outcome, proof/preview, contents, and price? - Is there a free sample/tool/checklist that helps without asking for a sale? - Have you found 5 live conversations where people already describe the exact pain? - Can your answer help even if the link is removed? If those are weak, more posting usually just creates more silence. Fix the page and create one useful free asset first, then answer specific threads instead of "launching everywhere."
